Buy a Cow for the Village of Kamak Uyina in Kenya's Rift Valley.

Penllergaer Scout Group put up with a stink to buy a cow for African villagers. A manure sale was held to collect enough money to buy a cow for the village of Kamak Uyina in Kenya's Rift Valley.
The animal will provide much-needed milk for a family of two children plus 16 other youngsters who have been orphaned by famine and disease.
Or members held their sale outside the church hall in Swansea Road, Penllergaer. And they managed to resist the temptation to tie their scarves over their faces as they dished out the dirt for £1 a time.
Patrol Leader Owen Thomas said: "The charity A Meal A Day came to talk to us about their work in Africa and we were very impressed with what they do. As one of our boys has a farm selling manure for compost it seemed an appropriate way to help.
"The manure was top quality, having been rotting for ages, and was ideal for the garden at this time of year.
"Gardeners were out in force and we sold everything and raised almost the exact amount, £160.
"We sold 150 of the bags at £1 each and some people gave a bit extra."
